Media Appearances

Niall’s interest in the media stems from wishing to convey his love of the outdoors and his passion for biology and conservation to the largest audience.

Niall made his presenting debut in 2011, presenting the hit documentary Lost in the Amazon: The Enigma of Colonel Fawcett, produced by Gryphon Productions. The show was well received by critics and audiences alike, winning two international awards.

Niall has made two seasons of the wildlife adventure series Biggest and Baddest for Animal Planet Canada, Nat Geo Wild and international channels. This series sees Niall travelling to remote locations around the world to tell the conservation story of some of the most fearsome animals on earth.

Niall is a guest host for Discovery Channel Canada’s Daily Planet show, and has been a regular guest on National and International TV and radio, including Channel 4′s Sunday Brunch in the UK and the Marilyn Denis Show in Canada.

In 2015 Niall won a Platinum Remi Award for best on-screen talent at Worldfest Houston International Film and Video Festival for his work on the Man Eating Crocodiles episode of Biggest and Baddest. At the same award ceremony, the Mountain Gorilla episode of Biggest and Baddest was awarded a Special Jury Award for Nature / Wildlife.
